New Countries on Everest: Oman and Montenegro |

Among the many recent ascents, the first Omani summited Everest today: Khalid Sulaiman Humaid Al Siyabi (36). He summit with Peak Freaks!
On the North Side the first climbers from Montenegro summited today as well. They were Đorđije Vujičić, Marko Blečić and Dragutin Vujović. They were accompanied by Serbian climber Dragan Čeliković.

Simone Moro summited Everest again |

Yesterday Simone Moro summited Everest again. He had planned to summit today, but because of the fine weather he summited already yesterday. It was his fourth ascent of Everest! The attempt to ascent without bottled oxygen, was rejected.

Multiple Ascents on Everest |

Today many climbers reached the summit of Everest from both sides. It will last a while to confirm all names.
Two more dreams were fulfilled already:
The first Guatemalan lady climber Andrea Cardona summited with the Twins Willie and Damian Benegas and five Argentineans: Marcelo "Topo" Deza, Carlos "Charlie" Galosi, Leonardo "Cuny" Proverbio, Alvar Puente and Ramón Chiocconi. They summited from the South.

From the North the first Austrian lady climbers were successful, Sylvia and Claudia Studer, mother and daughter, together with husband and father Wilfried.

Today the youngest person ever climbed Everest. Jordan Romero (13 years and 314 days young) made it from the North side. Many other ascents were achieved today. Apa climbed it for the remarkable 20th time and also the youngest Indian boy summited, Arjun Vajpai (sometimes written Vajpayee). He will be 17 on June, 9th!
Amanda Ramsden summited as well, she is the second lady climber from South Africa after Cathy O'Dowd, who summited twice (1996 and 1999). But she fulfilled another dream, she is the first South African lady climber, who finished the Seven Summits!
