First Everest Summits of the Season |

After several ascents of Manaslu, Dhaulagiri I and Makalu the first Everest ascents of the season were achieved.
On her website Billi Bierling reports that three Sherpa climbers and one client of the Himex expedition led by Russell Brice summited Everest today. The names of the Sherpas are Phurba Tashi (ascent Nr. 14), Dorje and Nima, the client is David Tait, who summited Everest already twice from the North side and now also from the South.
In addition also two Sherpa climbers from the IMG team, Panuru (Nr. 7) and Mingma Tenzing (Nr. 5), and one from the AAI team, Kami Rita (aka Topke, Nr. 13) summited Everest today.
