Gerlinde and Ralf summited Lhotse |

Per telephone conversation the news came in. They summited at about 11h00 AM and are safe back in Camp 4.
Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner and Ralf Dujmovits made history today. Gerlinde (her 12th 8000er) finished the 16th nation, that collectively summited all 14 Main-8000ers without supplementary oxygen and Ralf is the first German climber, who ascended all the 14. They summited together with Hirotaka Takeuchi (also his 12th 8000er) and David Göttler (his Nr. 4).
